WATER AUDIT - WATER CONSERVATION
REDUCE COSTLY WATER LOSS WITH A PROVEN LEAKAGE CONTROL STRATEGY

Larsen Water Management is the most experienced Irish water audit company. Our objective as a company is to assist clients in reducing costly water loss on their water distribution network through water conservation and the implementation of an effective leakage control strategy.

The first step of the ‘water conservation’ process is to carry out a water audit. The data gathered will allow us to profile the sites pattern of water consumption, measure the minimum night-time flows (MNF) and establish the sites current level of ‘unaccounted for water’ (UFW) and potential water leakage.

We compile a water audit report on the findings for each site and where we identify that there is UFW or water leakage present, we provide figures for the potential water conservation savings that can be achieved by carrying out a leak detection and water conservation survey.

FLOW & PRESSURE TESTING IN ACCORDANCE WITH BS9990 (inc BS5306 PART 1)
LARSEN undertake Fire Hydrant Flow and Pressure Testing in accordance with BS9990 (inc BS:5306 Part 1). The standard outlines the level of service fire hydrants should be maintained to allow it to meet the demands imposed in the event of a fire. Fire Hydrant flow testing and condition assessment is essential to ensure their optimum performance at all times, and provides evidence of compliance with your fire certificate.

The fire hydrant testing procedure involves logging the pressure and establishing the maximum sustainable flow rate from each fire hydrant. The condition of each fire hydrant and associated chamber is assessed and recorded in accordance with the BS:9990 inspection criteria.

Following the completion of the fire hydrant test, a detailed report will be compiled on the findings.
Our aim is to provide a simple but comprehensive set of results, which clearly show the performance of each hydrant and identifies where any remedial work is required.
