Products
 | Solar Electricity There has NEVER been a better time to install solar electric panels.
A solar electric system can pay for itself in less than 7 years - leaving free electricity for a further 20 years or more.
Ideally you need a south facing roof, however, we can also install on east or west facing aspects, and ground mounted or a purpose built frame. |
 | Solar Hot Water Green Energy Technology offers a 20 year warranty on installations of Kingspan Thermomax tubes, and a 10 year warranty on flat panels as standard. Solar energy is free, clean and safe. It is environmentally friendly and produces no waste or pollution. Using solar energy enables you to reduce your carbon footprint as well as your energy bills.
Green Energy Technology has extensive experience in supplying and installing Thermomax solar thermal vacuum tube systems. Thermomax is manufactured by Kingspan Solar. Kingspan Group is recognised throughout the construction industry for its commitment to innovation, design, quality and technical expertise. |
 | Wood Pellet Systems Wood pellet systems are ideal for new buildings, or as a direct replacement for oil or gas. Modern wood pellet boilers and stoves are fully automatic, self cleaning and up 97% efficient.
Wood pellets are typically 40% cheaper than heating oil and we supply them from local manufacturers. As a locally grown, processed and transported product, wood pellets are not as impacted by global incidents as oil or gas would be. Wood pellets are also a low carbon fuel, helping homes and businesses to reduce their impace on the environment. |
 | Wood Pellet Storage Fuel storage, feeding and delivery solutions are an important and integral part of designing a biomass heating installation. See below for information, but don't worry, we provide full end-to-end fuel solutions with our biomass boilers.
Fuel Storage A number of important factors need to be considered. Like fossil fuels, biomass fuel is much cheaper when delivered in bulk - so consideration needs to be given to access for delivery vehicles, whether your fuel will be tipped or blown, and where it will be stored. Generally speaking, wood chips take up 3 times as much space as wood pellets. Storage needs to be as dry as possible - not only will this protect your fuel, but you will achieve better efficiency and save more money if your fuel is kept dry and in a low humidity environment. |
 | Air Source Heat Pumps Heat pump technology has been used around the world for decades and manufacturers have developed this technology for domestic application - one of the most advanced, efficient heating systems available today.
Using an air source heat pump to provide domestic space heating and hot water, it is possible to greatly reduce CO2 emissions and your home's running costs. Using proven heat pump technology widely used in the heating and cooling industry, a heat pump upgrades naturally occurring energy from the air and uses this to provide domestic space heating and hot water. |
 | Wood Chip Systems We supply and install advanced European biomass boilers that convert your wood chip, wood waste, miscanthus or cereals into usable heat and hot water. All our systems are over 90% efficient. We work with you to design a solution that will last decades.
Ideal for medium to large scale applications and district heating, biomass heating has been used in Austria and Germany for decades. They can be installed into existing buildings with minimal disruption to existing plumbing. |
