The Goodfellas are a five-piece band performing totally live all over the country. We were formed back in 1997 and are made up of Liam on lead vocals, flute, guitar, saxophone and whistle, Damien on keyboards and backing vocals, Noel on lead guitar and backing vocals, Colm on bass guitar and backing vocals, and finally Seammy on drums and percussion.
Since the band played its first gig they have performed at venues all over Ireland as well as Scotland receiving rave reviews!
The Goodfellas perform at weddings, civil partnerships, corporate functions, birthday parties, outdoor festivals and night clubs. The versatility and talent within the band means that most music tastes are catered for, young and old alike. The massive vocal range of Liam (known as 'The Voice') make it possible to virtually perform songs from any artist such as Tom Jones, Elvis, Barry White, George Michael, Robbie Willams, Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Josh Groban, Bob Segar, Joe Cocker, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, Bryan Adams, Lionel Richie, The Doobie Brothers, Creedance, ZZ Top, Dire Straits, Journey, Whitesnake, Rainbow, Boston, AC/DC, Guns & Roses, Van Halen, and many many more!
All modern day artists and groups like Snow Patrol, Kid Rock, Toploader, The Stereophonics, The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, Kings of Leon, The Black Eyed Peas, Cee Lo Green, Bruno Mars, Queen, Scissor Sisters, Take That, Razorlight, Adele, Amy Winehouse, Mika, Shayne Ward, The Communards and Erasure are just to mention but a few that also get a rendition from this lively, talented band.
At the end of the show the band performs a Celtic rock set from The Horslips, The Saw Doctors, The Pogues, The Proclaimers, and an incredible instrumental and vocal version of the Luka Bloom song You Couldn't Have Come At A Better Time which has to be heard to be believed....this has the crowds jumping and shouting for more which leaves an unforgettable memory as guests travel home.
