Professional harpist Sharon Carroll is an experienced musician who is available to play at church weddings, civil ceremonies and other special occasions.

Sharon has specialised in performing at weddings since 2002 and has played throughout Ireland in a range of venues from the quaint to the magnificent.

She has played for royalty, members of parliament, celebrities and intimate wedding ceremonies.

Sharon’s vast experience includes entertaining The Queen (during her last visit to Ireland) as well as Prince Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall at the grand opening of The Braid Town Hall and Museum in Ballymena. More recently, Sharon has played at various corporate events where she entertained guests including the First Minister, Peter Robinson and Deputy Minister, Martin Mc Guinness, Paul Clarke (UTV) and The Ambassador of Latvia.

Sharon prides herself in delivering a high standard of performance with impeccable presentation and musicianship. Her repertoire includes a wide selection of traditional Irish music, along with many popular and classical pieces.

Sharon plays a beautiful, Teifi Celtic harp which not only sounds fantastic but its sheer presence and quality of tone makes it a wonderful choice for all special events. Her music creates a pleasant ambiance without ever imposing.

As well as performing, Sharon is a popular tutor who enjoys passing on her love of the harp to children and adults. Sharon has been passing on her passion for the harp since 2002 and students of her Harp School have achieved success at all levels.
