Here at OMC Specialist Floor Screeding we take pride in delivering our customers with top quaity workmanship. When you choose us to lay your floor screed, you choose an experienced team of floor layers to provide you with smooth, even, level floors.

We aim to meet all our customers needs, from 4:1 traditional sand cement screed, to fibre screeds and rapid drying screeds, we lay floors to suit you.


What we lay.

4:1 screeds
Usually readymixed and deliverd to site, this is the most common screed used in both domestic and commercial work. We can also mix this on site using a screed pump. This is usually done to suit the customers needs.

Fibre screeds
Used where underfloor heating is present, also known as PP (polypropylene) it improves strength, cohesion and is impact resistant. Again this can be delivered readymixed or we can mix it on site.

3:1 screeds
In some cases this screed can be applied to garage floors or outside areas where suitable. After application this screed is brought to a shine with a powerfloat and pan. This leaves a super smooth top which prevents abrasion and corrosion that can be sealed or painted. In areas where this is not strong enough we lay concrete which is also brought to a very smooth finish.

Rapid drying screeds
Because these screeds are rapid drying they have to be mixed onsite using the pump. These screeds are often used for projects on a fine deadline. Because they are rapid drying you can tile on the floor as little as 24 hours after it has been laid. This screed can also be mixed with fibre.
