How does Driver CPC affect your Company?
From 10th September 2009, Every professional Driver will need to complete 35hrs of ‘periodic training’ every 5 years to retain their Driver CPC. Therefore every professional will now have to undertake the equivalent of a 1 day (7hr) course every year for the rest of their professional driving career.

NO DRIVER CPC = NO LGV LICENCE

Who will enforce Driver CPC?
PSNI, VOSA and the Driving & Vehicle Agency (DVA)

Who should I train with?
There are a few companies out there offering Driver CPC, but you should always ask for a CV of the trainer, to check their experience. We at PMC training services have one of the most experienced in Ireland. Please see Instructor CV.

Defensive driving & Fuel efficiency
1 to 1 tuition on Defensive driving skills and accident prevention, which will also include green driving, with emphasis on fuel efficiency. This can be a major money saver as the largest overhead for any haulage company is their fuel bill.



Digital and Analogue Tachograph training
This training will include an update on driver rules and regulations. This course can take the form of 1 to 1 tuition or classroom based for a company and their drivers. As penalty points and heavy fines are soon to be implemented in Northern Ireland for tachograph infringements, this course is a must, to help protect your licence.

LGV Driving Test
Let us prepare you for your test. We at PMC Training Services can train you for all classes of LGV licences.

Caravans and Trailers
If you passed your car test after 1st January 1997, are you aware that you need to pass a test to pull a Caravan or Trailer? If you need to pass this test, we at PMC Training services can also prepare you for this test.
