Application Assist was established in July 2009 by Sinéad McCartan and is based in Omagh, Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It offers a comprehensive range of services for school-leavers, graduates, university applicants and job-seekers, including CV writing, help with completing job applications, writing personal statements for UCAS/CAO and Interview skills. It also provides professional assistance for anyone wishing progress in their career. Proprietor, Sinéad McCartan has a BA Joint (Hons) in English and Communication Media from Lancaster University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Newspaper Journalism from The University of Ulster.
She has considerable experience in Journalism and is the Careers columnist for THE TYRONE HERALD having previously worked for; 'The Down Recorder', 'The News Letter', 'BBC Manchester' and a few local newspapers in Northern Ireland and England. In addition, she has worked as a sub-teacher and trainee teacher in various Primary and Post Primary Schools in Northern Ireland.
