Linton & Robinson is and has been a family run business since it was established in 1954. Since then it has grown with its customers to become the premiere department store in the North. Linton & Robinson Ltd is based in Strabane, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland and also in Southern Ireland known as Linton & Robinson Ireland. It is a family company 50 years in existence, dealing with the general public through their complete home furnishings business on Abercorn Square and the agricultural, hardware, tools and garden equipment on Dock Street. Group annual turnover for 2005 was £5.9 million.
Linton & Robinson prides itself on providing a quality service to its customers. To achieve maximum efficiency, the company completed an energy review and completed staff training to ensure everyone in the company knew how they could help us achieve greater efficiency whilst also helping us use less of our valuable energy resources.
With progress made on this, the company decided to embark on an even more adventurous programme by incorporating working renewable energy systems into our new build project in Dock Street, which will be home to our hardware, agricultural and renewable energy sales departments.
