Repair & Decoding centre:
Our state of the art workshops have been designed and constructed to allow easy handling and safe storage of customers repairs. Much investment has been made in the necessary test equipment to ensure a quick turnaround. Repairs are carried out, both for the trade and general public. We repair all brands whilst out of warranty, and several manufacturers use our repair services for goods which are under warranty. Although we have a long history in television and car audio repairs we are deeply involved in automotive electronic repairs and general PCB services.

At Hobson's we have a specialist radio decoding department. Almost all radios found as original equipment in all vehicles can be decoded and either a code supplied or removed altogether. Although sometimes there may be slight price variations the largest percentage of radios are decoded for £20.00 inc vat.

Remapping:
Why is our system better?
The memory file in the ECU of your car contains specific data which is uniquely tuned to suit the characteristics of your engine and fuel management systems. When we tune your vehicle the data in your ECU is adjusted to give better performance along with the advantages of better fuel efficiency.

Many people advertising vehicle tuning are installing in your ECU, data which is universal. This system can introduce bugs into the software, cause excess smoke by simply increasing extra fuel into the engine which cannot be properly ignited.
