Island Forklifts was established 1983 by proprietor Norman McKee. The business was originally established as a services company which developed over the years and now offers services specialising in Hire, Sales, Transport and Machinery Relocation.

From an original staff of 2, with an extensive training program for mechanical, machinery relocation staff and transport drivers, Island Forklitfts has grown to employ 12 full-time staff with additional sub-contractors.

SALES
The sales staff of Island Forklifts are regarded as experts in the field of locating and procuring forklift trucks of all brands and lift capacity regardless of your cost limit. Island Forklifts have sales personnel in Northern Ireland, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England and Europe locating premier new and used forklift trucks to offer our customers, to suit their needs.

HIRE
Island Forklifts has a Forklift fleet of over 100 Forklifts for immediate hire ranging from 2 Tonne to 16 Tonne and a fleet of telescopic handlers. Details of forklift specification can be located on the vehicles sections of the site. Forklifts can be hired by the customer with or without a driver with a range of fork size ranging form a standard 1200mm (47'') - 2440mm (8') extension forks are also available on request. Island Forklifts offers a transport services with a range of lorries to deliver and collect forklifts throughout Ireland.

MAINTENANCE
The maintenance department of Island Forklifts are specialist Forklift mechanical engineers of all makes and models of forklift, skid steers and container handlers. Island Forklifts provides an indepth training program for trainee engineers and extensive familiarisation course for their engineers on the latest makes and models of all Forklifts.

FACTORY RELOCATION & INSTALLATIONS
Island Forklifts machinery relocation staff are the Number One Choice for Installations and Relocations in Northern Ireland regardless if the equipment is on the top floor or basement of any factory or office block. Staff are trained in rigging and slinging and the use of telescopic handlers and forklifts trucks. Island Forklifts have a full array of space saving LPG forklifts 2tonne, 3 tonne, 5 tonne and a selection of 7 tonne with varied height capacity. Island forklifts strive to maintain and install equipment with minimal disruption to our customers' working environment.

TRANSPORT
National and International Road Haulage Licence holders and R.H.A. members Island Forklifts Ltd transport division I.F. Logistics operate a fleet of artic and rigid lorries for prompt and immediate delivery when an order has been placed for hire. This fleet also services Island Forklifts' Factory reclocation department. I.F. Logistics have contracts with many companies both in Northern Ireland and the mainland, these services include plant transport, general haulage, auction sales, boat transport. If it fits we’ll move it.
