Established in 1946, Younger Homes manufactures and erects Timber Frame Buildings, PVC Windows/Doors and builds homes on its own sites, throughout Ireland. The Company currently employs over 200 staff onsite and across two manufacturing plants.
Timber Frame production is based on a 6.0-acre site and a bespoke production unit in Castledawson. The Company offers a Design & Structural Engineering service, supply & kit of, erection of the kit (including roof trusses, felt & lathing of roof), insulation & plasterboarding, drylining & trimming out (including redwood skirting, architrave, doors and stairs).
The PVC manufacturing plant is based in Maghera. The Company uses Legend 70 profile and manufactures window & door designs to the clients’ design & specification. 70mm profile is now provided as standard. Colours range from standard white, rosewood & golden oak to black, anthracite grey, dark green, steel blue and dark red.
The Development division specialises in high specification detached and semi detached houses. Our current project is “The Woodlands”, Claudy.
