Disability Action works to ensure that people with disabilities attain the full rights as citizens by supporting inclusion, influencing government policy and changing attitudes in partnership with disabled people.
How do we do this?
Disability Action does this in two ways, through the delivery of services and projects that meet the needs of disabled people and by campaigning for the rights of people with disabilities.
Each service and project has been developed to meet the needs of disabled people as well as to support families, friends, employers and others.
Our campaigning work is wide ranging; we lobby government and others to bring about changes to systems, policies, practices and legislation. We produce a range of policy documents and we work with other disability organisations in Northern Ireland, the UK and internationally.
