McCloy Consulting is an independent environmental consultancy specialising in Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS), Flood Risk Assessment (FRA), hydraulic modelling and pollution control for environmentally sensitive projects.

Established in 2003, the company has quickly established a reputation for providing a professional service tailored to our clients needs, delivering bespoke solutions to a range of environmentally sensitive problems whilst retaining an ethos of value for money to the client.



McCloy Consulting is able to provide clients with appropriate and expert advice regarding the scope and detail of works required for a Flood Risk Assessment, with experience in completing FRAs in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Great Britain. Under the Code for Sustainable Homes, McCloy Consulting has a proven track record in providing reports which will discharge the mandatory elements and gain credits for Sur1 (Surface Water Run-off) and Sur2 (Flood Risk).

We are at the forefront of design and implementation of SUDS and can count manufacturers and suppliers, major Irish and European renewable energy developers, housing associations and commercial/residential developers amongst our portfolio of clients. The Company has been delivering National SUDS courses on behalf of CIRIA for several years.

Our team, equipped with the latest software packages including Micro Drainage and InfoWorks, has extensive experience of large scale storm and wastewater modelling, drainage and sewerage feasibility studies, and design and supervision of wastewater schemes for public sector projects and private site developments. We can assist private clients in all aspects of the application process required to gain connection to NI Water public sewers, as set out in the Developers and House Builders Information Pack.
