The Rainbow Equestrian Centre is one of Northern Ireland's leading equestrian centres and is the only purpose built riding centre for both disabled and able-bodied riders. It is approved by the British Horse Society and is licensed by the Department of Agriculture.
The centre has one outdoor sand arena, a grass jumping paddock and cross-country fences (some that are being updated for 1999). The stables are designed on the American barn system and provide quality accommodation for the horses and ponies. We have good hacking on quiet country roads around Islandmagee.
At present we have 19 horses and ponies of every shape, size and temperament which have been carefully chosen to suit our needs. For the novice rider, we have horses that are quiet and sensible and if you are a more competent rider, we have horses which will take you to a higher level. We also have a number of horses that are suitable for the disabled rider.
Courses are offered all year round to riders from novice standard upwards who want to improve their riding skills and broaden their knowledge.
