My wife and I were shopping at Tesco, Springhill, Bangor this morning and came across a young man in the foyer collecting for the Special Olympics. He engaged us in conversation and it quickly became clear that he was a double Olympic champion, having won gold in Athens last year. I hope Tesco''s are proud to have such a pleasant young person working for them who has excelled in his chosen sport and risen right to the top. Please pass on my further congratulations, and well done to Tesco for presenting such an admirable representative to the public. It''s not often I have the honour to meet an Olympic Champion on a Friday morning.
