Carrowmena Activity Centre & Hostel opened in March 2009 by Charlotte as a new and unique activity centre offering budget accommodation for all. She is very passionate about the outdoors and has a young, enthusiastic staff who bring lots of energy to the centre.

Carrowmena Activity Centre & Hostel was built back in 1936 as Carrowmena Primary School with 35 pupils and 2 teachers. Since opening it has been nomiated for Roe Valley Business Awards 2010, ’Best Rural Business’ and Charlotte nomiated for ‘Young Entrepreneur’ & ‘Female Entrepreneur’.
Carrowmena Activity Centre & Hostel lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty at the foot of Binevenagh in the beautiful Roe Valley. Based on the outskirts of Limavady along the Causeway Coastal Route, 1 hours drive from Belfast.
Hostel & Camping Facilities
Carrowmena Centre has different style dorm rooms and camping facilities, perfect for backpackers, tourists and groups. Ideal for exploring local beauty areas such as the world famous Giant’s Causeway and the beautiful Causeway Coast, Roe Valley Country Park, Historical City of Derry.
Carrowmena Hostel N. Ireland has a lot of local attraction to explore. Based close to Limavady, Lough Foyle, Donegal Ferry, airports, train and bus stations.

Outdoor Activities
The activity centre offers a wide range of adrenalin pumping, action based wet or dry outdoor activities for the adventurous, from canoeing, kayaking, raft building, climbing wall, archery, zip line, ropes course, orienteering, hill walking, over night camps, camp crafts, initiative challenges, team building activities.
Packages
Carrowmena Centre offers a wide range of packages to suit everyones needs, for schools, youth groups, church groups, birthday parties, corporate team building, friends, stag, hen parties, families and individuals.
