Terramar Networks Limited offers asset tracking and fleet management services on a global basis, on land, sea and air. Our customers span a variety of industrial sectors, including offshore oil and gas, maritime shipping, road transport, food distribution and construction. We track thousands of trucks, vans and plant in Northern Ireland alone.
Terramar Networks is an Associate Member of the Fleet Transport Association.
Products & Services
We deliver our services on the basis of a proprietary platform called tracpoint. Tracpoint is a very flexible, scalable and robust platform, which supports a variety of hardware devices, using both satellite and GSM networks. No software download is required – all you need is a computer with a web browser.
Tracpoint offers the following services:
- a basic tracking service, showing in real time where an asset is located
- a sophisticated reporting engine giving detailed management information on a range of parameters, including journey history, maximum speed, idling and out of hours usage
- driver ID, providing the ability to link drivers to vehicles
- a variety of alarms for safety and security, including panic buttons, alerts on vehicles leaving or entering pre-defined zones and power loss
- PTO monitoring
- temperature monitoring, for food distribution
- CAN Bus, which extracts rich information from the vehicle’s engine management system to provide information on fuel consumption, acceleration and braking
- personal tracking, suitable for lone worker protection
- a web service, allowing our tracking information to be incorporated in your own website
