McGarry-Moon Architects is a young, dynamic architectural practice producing architecture that embodies a high degree of conceptual and technological innovation. The architecture of the practice is a considered response to the particulars of the site and the clients’ needs. It is imaginative in regards budget, takes a pro-active approach to the building process, and endeavours to create architecture that is without concession to history but in sympathy with its context and has little effect upon the environment and landscape in which we live.
Priding themselves on a strong client service, each building is the product of an ongoing dialogue between architect and client regarding their aspirations, optimal building programme and a comprehensive investigation into site and context. Throughout this process, innovative ideas are conceived, tested and communicated through sketches, drawings, physical models and 3D computer modelling. The company’s portfolio of commissioned work throughout the UK and Ireland is testament to their attention to detail and inventive design work.
