RCT
Sometimes due to infection or trauma the pulp inside a tooth has to be removed.

This is usually carried out under local anaesthetic and may require a number of visits.

After the removal of pulp the tooth and root is then filled to prevent reinfection. Usually back teeth need a crown after root canal treatment.

Here at Calla Dental we have the expertise to successfully remove all types of teeth including wisdom teeth. However heavily impacted wisdom teeth or buried roots may need a referral to a specialist for removal.

Healthy gums are fundamental for a healthy mouth and beautiful smile. Many of our gum treatments are carried out by the hygienists here at Calla. They will focus their attention on preventing and treating your gum disease and will advise you on how to maintain excellent oral health. This may require a number of appointments with the hygienist that can be arranged to suit your own individual needs.
