Car Air Conditioning
How often should I have my car air-conditioning serviced?
At McMillan Specialist Cars, we recommend a re-gas approximately every 2 years to make sure that your air conditioning system not only keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer but importantly, is able to efficiently demist the windows and keep the windscreen clear so that your visibility is not compromised. At McMillan Specialist Cars we can regas with the older R134a gas or the newer R1234yf gas.

Engine – Repairs and Rebuilds
Normal driving creates wear and tear on your engine. Much is taken care of by regular servicing but sometimes it is necessary to rebuild the engine. When necessary we strip the engine, identify what needs carried out and discuss with you the best way forward – to suit your needs and keep costs to a minimum. 24-Hour Vehicle Recovery
If you’ve broken down somewhere or if you’ve been involved in an accident, give McMillan Specialist Cars a call on 028 9335 4911 and we’ll get to you as quickly as we possibly can. Our 24-hour vehicle recovery team are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are all trained mechanics, so if it’s possible to carry out the repairs on the roadside, they will. If it’s not possible to repair your car on the roadside, we will bring it back to our Antrim workshop to carry out any repairs needed.
