In 2022 P.McCartan & Sons celebrated 65 years in the Monumental business. Although many things have changed over the years, our success is still built on a professional, efficient, friendly and personal service. Unlike some other firms, our experience has been handed down from generation to generation, the family being engaged in the Monumental Business since 1887.

As a result of this we are one of the very few firms today who can supply hand cut Memorials and Inscriptions.

Additional Inscription & Renovations

Adding additional inscriptions, cleaning and renovating a Memorial which already exists is a very specialist part of our service. Most additional inscriptions have to be cut in the cemetery and must match the existing design and style of lettering on the Memorial. Our years of experience in hand cut, sandblasted and leaded inscriptions has been a great comfort to many customers over the years.

The Estimate

As it is our practice to uphold and maintain the dignity of the craft, we do not pester the bereaved, or solicit orders in Burial Grounds.
