I was unexpectedly taken into A&E then admitted to ward 3 whilst on a business trip to Derry. I was without family or friends for my week stay in hospital and the staff, doctors and nurses made it their purpose to ensure I was not only looked after medically, but also emotionally. I can not thank everyone enough for their support and concern for me. This experience has restored my faith in the NHS, as even though resources were stretched, each and every person still demonstrated compassion in a very scary situation. Thank you to everyone,
My husband Jim suffered a stroke six weeks ago and as a family we didnt think he would recover but thanks to the ambulancemen A&E staff .The staff on ward 41 and mostly to the doctors and nurses and Physios on Ward 40 who helped in every way to aid his recovery he is back at home and doing very well These people are not appreciated and definitely money would not pay them for the work they do again we say a big thank you to them all not forgetting the catering staff We are indebted to them all BB xx
Attend out-patients on regular basis. Giving the patient a choice of dates and times is just a great service.
My six year old son was taken to A&E because of breathing problems...he was so well looked after by all the girls who cooed and caaed at him..my son Eli has Down Syndrome and he loved the attention he was getting for his green trousers..it was so lovely how much fuss they made...he was admitted to ward 6 with a chest infection..there he continued to woo the staff and touch their hearts..we wer so well looked after by all the nurses there..staying for five days and nights..Eli's ESR count came back very high.so every test was carried out.as we waved bye bye to al the nurses and give numerous hugs...I felt so compelled to share my experience...the follow up treatment from Dr Traynor was great too..A big five stars for all the A&E girls and all at ward 6...Thank you for yr warmth and kindness it means so much to so many mums..x
A huge thank you to the ambulance men who did a fantastic job and the nurses and doctors from A and E, wards 44 and 20 who looked after me. All the staff were excellent. I would also like to say thank you to the two interns in ward 20, they brought a smile to everyone's faces and nothing was too much trouble.
My aged mother was rushed to resuscitation as an emergency admission. From the nurse accompanying her in the ambulance, through to the resus staff, A&E staff and then up to ward 40, the professionalism and care provided by all involved was exemplary. The friendliness and individual care given by everyone we dealt with was remarkable. Very apecial people, indeed. Thank you hardly seems enough. A worrying experience made much easier by wonderful people.
I was admitted on 1st November while at home on holiday. From the time I was received in A&E until my discharge on the 4th I could not have been treated better. The care and attention was wonderful. Thank you to ALL the staff.
The nursing staff were wonderful and so were the physiotherapy and catering staff. They were all very helpful and took great care of me. Thank you all - I''ll never forget you.
