Mel's Traditional Fish n Chips was established at 61a Main Street on 31st March 2010 and since then has been going from strength to strength to provide quality food to all our customers. As a result of this we have received recognition by being awarded 2010/2011 Quality Fast Food Awards. Melvin Gibson has 10 years experience in the fast food industry and prides himself on providing a fast and efficient service.
Our quality fast food is sourced from reputible suppliers and is cooked to order to ensure the customer gets it at it's best. We are the most up-to-date chip shop in Maghera and is equipped with all the latest cooking equipment. All our staff have been fully trained in Health and Hygiene standards. We have an extensive menu on display ranging from traditional fish and chips to burgers, freshly battered chicken, steak dishes and kebabs with our own special sauce.
Alternatively we offer a range of 'healthy' and vegetarian options such as wraps and subs. Lunchtime specials are available from 12 noon to 2pm Mon-Sat. We are open from 12 noon to 10.30 pm Mon-Sat and from 4pm-10.30pm Sun.
