Jimmy McNeill is one of Ireland's most popular animal artists. If you commission a painting of your beloved pet from Jimmy, you will certainly say 'It's like looking at a photograph'. That's the comment passed most often by his many highly satisfied clients to date.

In fact, the detail is so outstanding that another reaction often expressed when clients see Jimmy's work is 'You can almost see every hair'. This highly skilled professional artist has a long list of extremely satisfied customers and enthusiastic collectors of his work.

A native of the Glens of Antrim, Jimmy now works out of his home studio on the outskirts of Belfast. He has exhibited his work widely at game fairs, craft fairs and horse trails throughout Ireland to wide acclaim.

His love and admiration for all animals and wildlife shines through in the superb detail he carefully portrays in each portrait, often using his favourite local woods and mountains as a backdrop.
