Let the Battle of the Buskers Commence!
Banbridge Town Centre is the place to be on Saturday 28th June at 1pm when the fifth annual ‘BuskFest’ busking festival attracts the best musicians and street entertainers from Ireland, Britain and across Europe to the town to compete for major cash prizes totalling £3250. Banbridge District Council Events Officer, Sandra Parker told the Big List: . “Record numbers of buskers of all types have been registering online since last year to take part in this popular event. It’s also a fabulous day’s craic - the streets will be buzzing with music, song, dance, jugglers and acrobats so we also expect to welcome record numbers of visitors”.
