Orchestrated Vibrance
The Irish Chamber Orchestra, one of the world’s top chamber orchestras, has gained a remarkable reputation as a vibrant force on the Irish and international music scene.
On the evening of Wednesday 7th May 2008, the world-renowned Orchestra will be playing at May Street Church, Belfast. An early arrival at the spectacular and unique May Street Church venue is advised.
The Irish Chamber Orchestra will be conducted by Gabor Takacs-Nagy. The programme for the evening includes Thomas C Kelly’s “Three pieces for strings”, Dvorak’s “Sextet in A Op 48” and Bartok’s “Divertimento”.
While enjoying a very busy touring schedule within Ireland, the Irish Chamber Orchestra’s unique personality has charmed audiences the world over, including across Europe, South Korea, China and Australia. For one night only, on 7th May 2008, the Irish Chamber Orchestra will be performing at May Street Church in Belfast, before embarking on an American tour.
