Portrush Beach Party Back On
After cancelling early in the year with no headline act, the Portrush Beach Party has managed to pull out an amazing turn-around and is back on with one of the best dance acts around.
One of the UK's biggest live acts and Grammy award winners, The Chemical Brothers, will now headline the first ever 'LIVE in Portrush' concert at East Strand car park in the seaside town on Saturday 14th June.
Lisburn based event promoters PLM Promotions and Col Hamilton Promoter of the Portrush nightclub Lush! teamed up to save the day by delivering an excellent line up which will see performances from DJs including Fedde LeGrand, Eric Prydz, Utah Saints, DJ Steve Angello and Chemical Brothers' tour DJ James Holroyd.
The Chemical Brothers have also played at many major festivals, from Glastonbury to Reading and currently hold the record for most gigs performed in a year at London’s Brixton Academy.
Their album, 'Push The Button' and single 'Galvanize' won a Grammy at the Grammy Awards two years ago and they also had a major Top Ten hit with perhaps their most well-known single 'Hey Boy Hey Girl'.
Tickets for the concert go on sale at 9am on Friday 18th April, at Ticketmaster outlets nationwide priced £36 plus booking fee. A limited number of special VIP tickets will also go on sale priced £59, plus booking fee. For online bookings go to www.ticketmaster.ie. 24-hour ticket hotline number is 0870 2434455 (from NI)
