It's not often in Belfast you get to hear a UK beatbox champion and DMC champion in the same lineup, and certainly not for less than a fiver. However, on 27th November JFB, the 2007 UK DMC champion, and Beardyman (pictured) who was 2006/2007 UK beatbox champion, hit Mish Mash for a loopy MC adventure. BattleJam incorporates improvised sounds sampled from the crowd, either en-mass or individually and make a tune out of it live, by scratching it and manipulating it in before your very ears. Both MC's are of a serious international caliber, with appearances on Graham Norton, Channel 4, MTV and Radio 1. Beardyman has been working on Groove Armada's latest album and the boys have appeared alongside many international acts such as Andy C, Grooverider, Shy FX, Fatboy Slim and Jazzy Jeff. These very talented individuals developed their skills together in the seaside town of Brighton and have went on to become international gurus in the art. The opportunity to hear them "Battlejam" is always a special occasion as they bounce off each other, and you're voice will be part of the fun.
