Akon Announces Two Irish Dates
Multi award winning Hip Hop and R&B, singer, songwriter & producer Akon has announced two Irish dates in the RDS Simmonscourt on Tuesday 27th January & Belfast’s Odyssey Arena on Wednesday 28th January 2009
The multi-platinum selling Akon revealed the addition of two Irish dates to his forthcoming World Tour to promote his newly released third album Freedom, which was released on the on Tuesday, December 2nd
This album has already been credited as his best album to date with such tracks as "Right Now (Na Na Na)," and collaborations with some of the hottest artists in the music industry at present, such as T-Pain, Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne & The legendary Wyclef Jean. This is promising to be one of the biggest tours of his career with a truly memorable line up.
Tickets for this hugely anticipated event will go on sale with Ticketmaster and all usual outlets nationwide from Monday the 15th December at 9.00am and are sure to sell out quickly.
