General Fiasco Play At JD Set
Northern Ireland’s top music joint Spring & Airbrake will host the final date on the second JD Set Tour with the electrifying Kids In Glass Houses and General Fiasco.
Kids In Glass Houses is a five-piece rock band from Wales. During the past year they have supported giant names such as Manic Street Preachers, Goo Goo Dolls and Funeral For A Friend. They release their new single ‘Easy Tiger’ on 10th March with their debut album set for release in May.
Northern Irish lads General Fiasco only played their first gig in July 2007 and have since gone on to support the mighty The Wombats, One Night Only, The Pigeon Detectives and The Enemy in their fledgling career. Their debut album is set for release later in 2009 with their first single, ‘Something Sometime’, on the 2nd March.
The performances will form part of a special TV series filmed for Channel 4 where each band will feature in an individual 15 minute show with behind the scenes interviews from Russ Tannen.
The JD Set began life in 2002 and have since established the reputation for delivering a snapshot of some of the most forward thinking and dynamic musicians in the ever changing UK indie scene, playing host to artists such as The Wombats, Futureheads, and Foals.
General Fiasco and Kids in Glass Houses appear in the Spring & Airbrake, Belfast, on March 13th. Ticket Price: £8. Doors open at 8:30pm.
