This week Guinness are hosting celebrations for 'Arthur's Day', and expect thousands of people to get together to toast the black stuff's founder and enjoy performances from local and international artists in over 33 venues across Dublin. The gigs will be ranging from intimate performances in 28 Dublin pubs, to 4 music venues, and a concert at the St James's Gate brewery itself. Guiness have also revealed two additional international artists that will be in Dublin for the festivities. Joining artists such as Sir Tom Jones, (pictured), Estelle, Sugababes and Kasabian are Natalie Imbruglia and former Destiny Child band member Kelly Roland. Whilst the hub of Arthur's Day celebrations will focus on St James's Gate, and Dublin city, the celebrations will continue in pubs across Northern Ireland as publicans and their customers raise a toast to Arthur and enjoy the shows, which will be broadcast live into pubs and bars on the night. More than 60 artists from all over the world will be landing in Dublin to take over the pubs and venues all over the Irish Capital, marking the signing of the 9,000 year lease on the St. James's Gate brewery. Artists in a number of destinations around the world will also be performing on the day, with events including Sean Paul headlining a live show in Lagos, Nigeria and The Black Eyed Peas performing at celebrations in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The proceeds of the Arthur's Day ticket sales go to the Arthur Guinness Fund.
