Duke Special Asks 'Were You There?'
Northern Ireland’s eccentric, singer-songwriter, Duke Special has revealed a recent Belfast performance was one of the most extraordinary performances of his career to date.
Speaking on www.facebook.com/SmirnoffIreland, the Duke said playing to a sell-out home crowd at Belfast’s St Georges’ Market has become his most unforgettable appearance.
“It’s kind of impossible to describe,” he said.
“If you could bottle the feeling of having worked really hard over a long tour and you finish off in a room crowd surfing to 3,000 people.”
Visitors from Northern Ireland to the Smirnoff Ireland Facebook site can view the full story on Duke Special’s memorable night at St George’s Market.
The remarkable gig is being featured by the ‘Be There’ global campaign from market leading vodka brand Smirnoff, which is aimed at inspiring consumers to pursue one-of-a-kind experiences.
www.facebook.com/SmirnoffIreland is home to all latest news on one-of-kind experiences and Smirnoff Be There supported events happening around the island of Ireland - the type you look back on and say "I was there". The site also hosts a wealth of exclusive video content from up and coming artists and the chance to win original Smirnoff-Be There prizes.
