Get A 'Lott' Of Rihanna...
That somewhat indecipherable diva, Rihanna has probably made more than one or two of her fans quite happy indeed after hiring the blonde bombshell that is Pixie Lott to support her during her appearance here in May.
The stunning Pixie Lott (pictured) emerged last year as the new and slightly more interesting Joss Stone, winning pop audiences over with her melodic charms and likeable vibe.
She will be joining Rihanna at her highly anticipated performance in the O2, Dublin and The Odyssey Arena, Belfast this May.
When Pixie Lott's debut single Mama Do reached number one in the UK charts it was the first time in UK chart history that a debut single from a solo female British artist made its chart debut at number one, without coming through the reality TV route.
Ok, fair enough, she went to an expensive theatre school and daddy is a bonus-pocketing stockbroker, but bare in mind, she was signed to Def Jam Records by LA Reid who also signed OutKast and Mariah Carey. A subsequent bidding war resulted in her now being signed to Mercury Records in the UK and Interscope in the US who have Eminem, Fiest, and Queens of the Stone Age on their books.
Who knows, maybe this time next year Rihanna will be supporting Pixie Lott.
Rihanna with support from Pixie Lott performs in the Odyssey Arena on 24 May. Tickets are £45.
