Braddells was founded in 1811 when Joseph Braddell and his son came to Belfast from County Donegal. They established a business for the manufacture and retail of general sports and fieldsports equipment, including guns, fishing tackle and golf clubs. The fieldsports section separated from the general sports in 1913 and has become an established part of Irish sporting circles.
Many exciting developments have taken place in fishing tackle, during Braddell's nearly 200 years of existence and more are still to come, and it is our proud claim that we have kept up-to-date with them while maintaining a traditional attitude towards angling. We are committed to the angler and his requirements, providing all that is needed from a wide range of manufacturers, many at very special prices.
Purchase a complete fishing kit from only £25.00 or less, ready to use the moment you reach the river bank or shore.
To find us from Castle Court, cross Royal Avenue, turn right into Rosemary Street, go to the end of the street, turn left and we are just across the road. From the Albert Clock go along High Street to Bridge Street, turn right into Bridge Street which becomes North Street and we are the third shop on the right. From the West Link take the Clifton Street exit and travel towards the city centre along Donegal Street, pass St Anne's Cathedral, turn right at the end of the street and immediately right again, we are the third shop on the right. |
