Kidnap Attempt On 13-Year-Old Investigated
An investigation has been launched into an alleged kidnapping attempt in west Dublin.
a 13-year-old girl was jogging in Clonsilla at about 15:00 on Monday when an unknown assailant attacker her from behind and pulled a plastic bag over her head, according to a report by the Irish Independent.
It is understood that the young girl struggled with her attacker, believed to have been male, and managed to escape.
Garda confirmed that they are investigating a "suspicious approach", which is the third of its type in the area over the last two week. It is not yet known if the three incidents are connected, garda added.

Missing 16-Year-Old Found 'Safe And Well'
A 16-year-old girl missing from Coolock has been found "safe and well", garda have reported. Gardaí in Mountjoy had issued an appeal for help in tracing Jadine Dunne, who had not been seen since the early hours of Monday, 26 October. Garda thanked the public for their assistance in their search. No further action is needed.

Teenager Drowns On Holiday
A 17-year-old girl from Kilkenny city is reported to have drowned while on holiday in Spain. It is believed that the body of the girl, reported to be from Assumption Place, was found in a swimming pool on Friday. According to reports, the girl was on holiday with her mother and grandmother.
