Gardai Release Images Of Baby Girl Found In Dublin

Gardaí have released images of a newborn baby girl discovered in Rathcoole, Dublin on Friday 8 May 2015.

Gardaí have received a number of calls, however the mother has not contacted Gardaí or Tusla.

Sergeant Maeve O'Sullivan, Child Protection Unit, Clondalkin, said: "We are releasing this photograph so Mum can see her little baby girl and we would ask Mum to please contact us."

An Garda Síochaná and Tusla continue to liaise closely and would request anyone with information to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 01-6667600, or Tusla can be contacted on 01-6206387.

Unexploded Bomb Found In Kildare Garden
An unexploded bomb has been uncovered in the front garden of a home in Kildare. It is understood the homeowner immediately contacted Gardaí after discovering the device at about 3.30pm on Wednesday. Gardaí alerted the Army bomb disposal unit to examine the find. A number of residents in the immediate area were evacuated as a precaution.

Man And Woman Arrested In Connection With Child's Death Last Year
Two people have been arrested in connection with the death of a 10-week-old baby girl in Co Longford in June last year. The child, named as Doriana Kluska, from Cloondara in Longford, died in Temple Street Hospital on 04 June 2017. A man, aged in his 30s, was arrested in Naas. At the same time a woman, aged in her 20s, was arrested in Dublin.

Emergency Landing At Dublin Airport
A flight from Paris was forced to make an emergency landing at Dublin Airport on Monday night after the plane suffered a burst tyre. The Air France flight 1016 departed from Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris at around 6.30pm (Irish time), when it is understood to have blown a tyre.

'Hyde and Seek' Creches At Centre Of RTÉ Investigation To Close
The 'Hyde and Seek' creches at the centre of the RTÉ Investigates documentary, Behind Close Doors, are to be deregistered and closed with 21 days. Tusla's Early Years Inspectorate has notified the registered providers of the 'Hyde and Seek' crèches in central Dublin that their four services will be removed from the Register of Early Years Services.
