About Village Blinds and Shutters

Based in Ballymena, Co Antrim, Village Blinds & Shutters are one of Northern Ireland’s leading suppliers of made-to-measure window treatments. For over 30 years, we have provided hundreds of thousands of custom blinds and bespoke shutters across Northern Ireland. Due to continued success, we are recruiting an experienced Blind & Shutter Fitter to join our growing installation team.

Blinds and Shutter Fitter Key Info:

£14 per hour

Monday – Friday, (39.75 hrs)

2 years of similar experience required

Company van and fuel card

All tools provided

28 days holidays per year, (additional holidays with long service).

The Blind and Shutter Fitter Role

As our new Blind and Shutter Fitter, you will:

Work closely with sales to deliver an exceptional customer experience

Install made-to-measure blinds and shutters in homes and businesses across Northern Ireland

Travel to sites across NI to complete installations (company van provided)

Maintain our excellent reputation for quality workmanship and customer service

Blinds and Shutter Fitter Requirements

Previous fitting experience, preferably with blinds, shutters or in trades such as joinery

Competent carrying out basic electrical wiring

Strong commitment to customer satisfaction

Excellent communication and problem solving abilities

Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Full, clean UK driving licence

Blind and Shutter Fitter Rewards

£14 per hour

Company van, fuel card, phone, tools and training

Pension scheme and career development opportunities

28 days annual leave per year, increasing to 29 days after 3 years of service.
