Identification Appeal For Body Found In Ardglass

A man whose body was found in the sea near Ardglass harbour on Saturday has not yet been identified.

The PSNI in County Down said that the man is 30-40 years old, of medium build and 5ft 8in tall, with light facial stubble and a round face.

His dark receding hair was combed back.

A post mortem examination continues into the cause of the man's death.

He was wearing a navy blue woollen jumper over a horizontal light and dark blue striped long sleeved top, blue denim jeans and brown casual trainers.

Police think the man may recently have been in the Republic of Ireland, as he was carrying euros issued there.

Anyone who recognises this description or think they know who this man may be is asked to contact police in Downpatrick on 0845 600 8000.
