Man Arrested Over Danny McKay Murder
A 25-year-old man has been arrested over the murder of Danny McKay.
The man is being detained by police in north Belfast
The arrest follows news that a 23-year-old man who was arrested by detectives in the investigation had been released unconditionally.
The suspect had been detained by officers in north Belfast on Tuesday but was released last night.
Three other men who were arrested over the murder have also been released.
A 41-year-old and a 50-year-old man were arrested on Saturday, while a 28-year-old was arrested on Sunday. All three have been released.
36-year-old Danny McKay was murdered at his home on Longlands Road on Thursday night. He was shot several times as he sat on a sofa in his living room. He died at the scene.
Detectives investigating the murder are thought to be examining a potential drugs link and whether or not dissident republicans were involved.
Mr McKay was the father of a 10-year-old child. It is thought at least two armed men were involved in the attack.
Police have appealed for information from anyone who saw a silver Volkswagen Bora which was used in the murder.
The vehicle had been stolen by five masked men in the New Lodge area shortly before the shooting.
It was found burnt out in Ardmoulin Place, west Belfast, later on.
Police are also asking for anyone who may have seen a dark coloured saloon car being driven in a suspicious manner in the Longlands area during the period leading up to Mr McKay's murder to contact them.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
