Man arrested following stabbing outside school

A man has been arrested in connection to a stabbing incident in Co Antrim yesterday.

The man, in his late 20's, was arrested after two youths were stabbed outside a primary school in Ballymena yesterday morning.

The two youth's, aged 19 and 17, were taken to Antrim Area Hospital for treatment on their injuries.

The 19 year-old underwent emergency surgery immediately on arrival while the other youth was treated for serious injuries.

22-Year-Old Man Jailed For Rape At Laganside Crown Court
A 22-year-old man has been sentenced to six years for rape at Laganside Crown Court. Ahmad Alsbaihi was sentenced to six years. He will serve three years in custody and three years on licence. He will be placed on the Sex Offenders Register and will be subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) for 10 years.

Man Wanted In Ireland On Drug Offences Arrested In South Belfast
A 59-year-old man wanted in the Republic of Ireland has been arrested in south Belfast by the PSNI's International Policing Unit. Wanted to stand trial for drugs offences that occurred in the Kilkenny area in 2012.
