Man Arrested Over Double Murder

A man has been arrested in England over a double murder in County Armagh in 2006.

The 33-year-old was arrested on Wednesday in the Essex area.

Thomas O'Hare, 33, and Lisa McClatchey, 21, were doused in petrol and set alight at their home in Tassagh in November 2006.

The man is due to appear in Armagh Court on Friday.

22-Year-Old Man Jailed For Rape At Laganside Crown Court
A 22-year-old man has been sentenced to six years for rape at Laganside Crown Court. Ahmad Alsbaihi was sentenced to six years. He will serve three years in custody and three years on licence. He will be placed on the Sex Offenders Register and will be subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) for 10 years.

Detectives investigating the murders of Thomas O'Hare and Lisa McClatchey in County Armagh two weeks ago have arrested an 18-year-old man.

Belfast Man Handed Two-Year Stalking Protection Order
The PSNI have welcomed a two-year Stalking Protection Order (SPO) handed down to a 46-year-old Belfast man at Belfast Magistrates Court. The man had been found guilty of stalking and harassing his 50-year-old female ex-partner.
