Appeal Following Distraction Burglary

Police have launched an appeal following a distraction burglary in Donaghadee earlier this week.

On Monday, 28th July, two men went to a property in the Ballyvester Road area at around 11am. They told a male resident at the property that they were working on telegraph poles in the area. While one man distracted the resident, who is in his 60s, the other man stole property from a bedroom in the house.

Police have asked anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area, or has any information regarding the incident to contact them.
