15-Yr-Old Girl Assaulted In East Belfast

A teenage girl has been assaulted by a group of young people in east Belfast.

The 15-year-old and her friend were approached by the group on the Ballymacarret Road on Tuesday at about 21:30.

Police said one of the male youths hit the girl in the face with a piece of wood and then ran off.

The girl was taken to hospital and treated for cuts and bruising to her face.

The attacker is described as being about 16 or 17 years old, 5'7" tall with brown hair and wearing a red, white and blue tracksuit.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.

Teenage Girl Sexually Assaulted At Belfast Event
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following the sexual assault of a teenage girl at an event in Belfast. Police have reported that the teenager was sexually assaulted by an unknown male at an outdoor event in the Ormeau Park area and close to a fast-food van at about 10.30pm.

Girl, 12, Killed In Newry Beach Buggy Crash
A 12-year-old girl has died in a crash involving a beach buggy in Newry. The girl was travelling on the buggy with another 14-year-old girl when they collided with a pick-up trick at around 2.50pm on the Flagstaff Road in Cloughogue on Saturday, 18 November. The 12-year-old girl died from her injuries.
