Further Weather Warning Issued

A new weather warning has been issued for Northern Ireland.

On Tuesday, the Met Office issued a fresh warning for snow in the region.

It said rain and sleet can be expected with snow on higher ground. The 'yellow' alert will be in place from 5pm today (20 January).

Temperatures are also set to plummet, with icy stretches likely to form when the sleet showers lessen. A number of roads have already been affected by black ice, and motorists have again been advised to exercise caution when driving.

The latest weather warning will remain until 10am on Wednesday.
