Brothers Attacked During Armed Robbery In Co Fermanagh

Two brothers have been attacked by armed robbers at a house in County Fermanagh.

The pair, aged 34 and 40, were tied up and one was assaulted with a baseball bat and the other with a knife. The incident happened in Clabby on Tuesday.

One of the men was slightly hurt, however he did not need to be treated in hospital.

The robbers raided the property and demanded money and drugs from the brothers. A small sum of cash and a number of items of crystal were taken, according to police.

Officer Failed To Seek Medical Assistance For Man Attacked At Nightclub - Report
A police officer failed to summon medical assistance for a man who had been attacked outside a nightclub in County Antrim, according to a report by the Police Ombudsman. The man suffered head and face injuries after intervening to help a friend who was being attacked by five other men outside a nightclub in November 2014.

Man Arrested In Connection With 1992 Police Officer Murder
A 59-year-old man has been arrested at Birmingham Airport in connection with a fatal mortar attack in Newry in 1992. The man was arrested on Wednesday, 21 February by detectives from PSNI's Legacy Investigation Branch, investigating the murder of Constable Colleen McMurray and the attempted murder of her colleague in 1992.
