Shots Fired At House In Co Antrim

Shots have been fired at a house in Co Antrim.

The incident occurred in Victoria Street, Carrickfergus, shortly before 12.25am on 20 May.

Two shots were fired through the window of the property.

A man living at the house was not injured.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Alliance East Antrim MLA, Stewart Dickson, said: "Guns have no place on our streets. There can be no justification for this attack. Somebody could have been seriously injured or killed in this shooting.

"Those responsible have no regard for the consequences of their actions. Nobody deserves to be the victim of this sort of attack."

An investigation has been launched following a fatal road traffic collision near Bready, Co Tyrone. At around 1.40pm on Sunday, 07 April, police responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on the Victoria Road. Limavady Murder Victim Named As 17-Year-Old Blake Newland
A 17-year-old boy murdered in a stabbing in Limavady on Friday, 02 February has been named by the PSNI as Blake Newland. At around 9.35pm last Friday night, police responded to a report that a man, aged his 50s, has been stabbed in an incident in the Limavady area.

PSNI Investigates Arson Attack In L'Derry
The PSNI have launched an investigation into an arson attack in L'Derry on Monday, 11 March. At around 11.30pm last night, it was reported to police that two vehicles were on fire in the Grainan Drive area. Police and NIFRS attended the scene. Both vehicles sustained significant damage. Two other vehicles were also damaged as a result of the fire.

Man Injured After Shots Fired At House In Co Antrim
A man has been injured after shots were fired through the window of a property in Co Antrim. The incident happened at a house in the Moneyleck Park area in Rasharkin at around 10.20pm on Monday, 30 January. The man was treated for minor injuries and has been discharged from hospital. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
