eSentire To Create Almost 100 New Jobs In Cork

eSentire is to create almost 100 jobs over the next five years in a European HQ and Security Operations Centre in Cork.

The investment is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland.

eSentire, effectively combines people, process and technology to provide its service Active Threat Protection to mid-sized enterprises with advanced cybersecurity capabilities. The company's Security Operations Centre analysts continuously detect and mitigate threats that traditional security technology can miss, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Minister for Jobs, Eneterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton said: "Cybersecurity is a specific area which we have targeted as part of our Action Plan for Jobs, and in recent years we have seen an impressive performance in this sector.

"Today's announcement that eSentire, a leading company in this area, is establishing a European HQ in Cork and creating 100 extra jobs is another important boost. I wish Mark and the team every success with this project."
