Man Dies In Motorway Collision

A man has been killed in a collision on the M2 motorway on Sunday.

A woman was also injured in the crash and is in a critical condition in hospital.

The incident occurred at the Dunsilly roundabout at approximately 5.45pm.

The man who died was the driver of a dark grey Vauxhall VX220 sports car.

Constable Michael McNee said: "I appeal to anyone who was travelling on the M2 and witnessed the collision close to the Dunsilly on slip or saw the dark grey Vauxhall VX220 sports car on the M2 prior to the accident to contact the collision investigation unit.

"I also appeal to several significant witnesses who were at the scene and left without passing their details to police to also contact the collision investigation unit on 101."

The UK Government and the Irish FA have announced that 17 projects across NI will benefit from a £5.66 million fund aimed at boosting grassroots sports facilities. The projects will receive funding for 3G artificial grass pitches, with 12 projects receiving money to install new floodlights.

Man Jailed For Manslaughter Of David James Conville
A 31-year-old man has been jailed at Belfast Crown Court for the manslaughter of David James Conville in south Belfast in May, 2022. Edward Kelly was sentenced to serve three-and-a-half years, half of his sentence will be served in custody and half will be served on licence, following his guilty plea last November.

Man Dies Following Fatal Collision On M2
The PSNI have issued an appeal for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the M2 motorway outside Belfast on Sunday, 22 July. A man has died following the five-vehicle collision, which occurred on the M2 near Duncrue just before 4pm yesterday.
