NI Oil Prices Lowest In Six Years - Survey
Oil prices in Northern Ireland are at their lowest in six years, according to a survey by the Consumer Council.
The survey shows the average price of a 500 litre fill is currently £170.
Richard Williams, Head of Energy Policy at the Consumer Council said: "The cost of a 500 litre fill has dropped by almost half since prices peaked in February 2013. This decrease is good news for many consumers as home heating oil is used to heat the majority of homes in Northern Ireland."
