Kevin McGuigan Murder: Woman Arrested

Police have arrested a 50-year-old woman in connection with the murder of Kevin McGuigan.

The woman was arrested in Belfast on Thursday. She is being detained at Antrim Police Station for questioning.

Three men, including senior republican Bobby Storey, arrested on Wednesday also remain in police custody.

Mr McGuigan was shot outside his home in east Belfast in August and police claim members of the Provisional IRA were involved in the fatal shooting.

A free home safety and crime prevention advice event is to be held at Belfast City Hall on Friday, 01 March. The Belfast Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) has organised the event, which is free and will take place from 10am-1pm in Belfast City Hall. Man Charged In Possession Of Heroin
A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.

Two Men Convicted In Paramilitary Crime Task Force Investigation
The PSNI have welcomed the sentencing of two men at Laganside Crown Court for a number of offences, following a major investigation into the activities of the east Belfast UVF. James McGrogan, aged 37, and 32-year-old Christopher Cullen were both convicted on Thursday 18th April, for a number of drug-related offences.
